A cabaret venue combining an authentic atmosphere of frivolous theater soirées with both boisterous and intellectual entertainment is rare to come by in Europe these days. However, Chamaeleon Berlin is a multicultural complex residing in restored buildings from early 1900’s which has managed to preserve the true cabaret atmosphere and traditions in the spirit of which it continues to populate its program with the world’s best artists and groups. On this list, we can also find the Circa Australian contemporary circus company with its latest production entitled Wunderkammer. Hendrik Frobel, the director of Chamaeleon Berlin, confirms that the popularity of cabaret is on an upswing and Wunderkammer is a show which perfectly fits this genre.
