This performance by the world-renowned Cirk La Putyka deals with the story of a person who lives in his memories. He lives his ups and downs but he is unable to let go of them and live a free and relaxed life. UP’END’DOWN is view of the path from birth to death between a journey from Earth to the sky and back again through our imagination. A crossroads of streets, of heaven and Earth, birth and death, memories and the present, smile and tears, flight and fall. A crossroads of different genres – that is the new project of CIRK LA PUTYKA.
Its style continues in the footsteps of the best-known La Putyka project with one substantial distinction: the circus techniques chosen for the new project (teeter board, aerial silks, acrobatic rope and straps) were completely new to all the actors, dancers and acrobats involved.
The show premiered on December 19, 2010 at La Fabrika in Prague. The show runs for 75 minutes and there is no intermission.
