IM International Social Circus Festival 2014
10th-20th September, Mardin, Turkey
The theme is “PLAY FOR NO WAR”
THE IDEA
Mardin is the end of Turkey and begiining of Middle East,
It’s in Syria Border, it’s face to Mesopotamia, face to Syria,
It’s face to beauty but also face to problems and wars many many years.
There is kindness and tolerance but also discrimination and ignorance
In Mardin region there are thousands of children, refugees, youngsters, minorities, local people that havent meet the Assemblers effect of Circus Arts yet.
We want to reach at least some of them. Some of those children could be the future circus artists from Mesopotamia, and could spread the joy and peace of circus to where ever it’s needed.
They need to meet circus, take lessons, get in touch with world citizens.
To bring the peace, harmony, broadmind, diversity, circus disipline, colorfull
WE NEED CIRCUS HERE!

The Art Anywhere crew is working voluntary for the 4th year for Social Circus Festival. And have energy for more 4 years……
Every year somehow we found a way to cover artist’s all the costs. This year we can cover super food, accomodation but we have no money for travel costs.
PLEASE COME US!
Hitchhiking, cycling, walking, flying what ever way possible and…….
LET’S MAKE THE FESTIVAL REAL!
People who have money like gowerments, politicians, sponsors, capitalist companies dont care about good values for the societies and as IM Social Circus Festival we want to stay away from all politics and capitalists.
So with the small support from all of you
We can make a real circus festival for real people.
WE NEED 5 CIRCUS TRAINERS FOR SUMMER CIRCUS SCHOOL
July-August-Mid September
-Juggling Trainer
– Stilts Trainer (including building the stilts)
-Acrobatics and Aerials trainer (Silk, Trapeze)
-Theatre, clown, pantomime, mim
-Music
Each trainer will have students for 2,5 month and teaching and prepearing a final performance for İm Social Circus Festival
We have a very nice space for working also very nice house for hosting the trainers. (And good food)
FOR THE FESTIVAL
We can host up to 35 circus artist also circus music bands (at the same time)
during 10 days (10th-20th September 2014)

We are open to host travelling circus groups before and after festival.
